Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points,…
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • Plagiarism check. (plagiarism is copying another’s work or borrowing someone else’s original ideas.) ( http://turnitin.com/ )

 

ICIST Author Guidelines for Publication in IJIE

Authors of ICIST who are interested in publishing an article in the International Journal of Integrated Engineering (IJIE) must ensure that their submission complies with all the items listed below. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines will be returned to the authors.

  1. The article should be formatted according to IJIE template and submit it through the EDAS submission system (EDAS Link).
  2. The article must fall within the scientific scope of IJIE.
  3. The article should be original and should not have been previously published or be under consideration by other journals.
  4. The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  5. The ICIST papers submitted to the International Journal of Integrated Engineering (IJIE) must have similarity level less than 15%.
  6. The minimum number of pages for each paper submission is 6 pages, excluding the references. The length of manuscript is limited to 12 pages.
  7. Please be sure that the manuscript is up-to-date.
  8. It is expected that the citations are at least 20 sources, and 70% are the publication within 2020-2024.
  9. An author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference and present the paper at the conference physically or online. IJIE will publish the accepted papers of ICIST 2024 in a special publication. The registration fee covers publication and conference costs (Registration link).
  10. IJIE will publish the accepted and presented papers of ICIST 2024 in a regular publication.
  11. The submitted article will be published in Special Issue 2025.
